Regarding medications, they cannot be started until the final contract is signed by all parties. The drafting attorney will send documentation to the IVF physician, notifying them that the cycle can commence.
 
Step 4: The Fertilization and Embryo Transfer Process
Once the contract is complete, we can move on to the embryo transfer process. Starting the first day of her natural cycle, the surrogate mother begins 2–3 weeks of fertility treatments. Transfer success is dependent upon several aspects, including surrogate health, embryo health and simple fortuity. Additional embryos from the fertilization procedure are often available in the event the transfer must to be repeated.

Step 5: Pregnancy
The prenatal care regimen begins once your surrogate mother is successfully pregnant.
